Local musician Harriet Kisakye has passed on. Kisakye, who has been battling a yet unknown illness, was transferred from Mulago hospital to IHK on Thursday after her condition deteriorated. Kisakye was hospitalised at Mulago two weeks ago with a septic wound on her fore arm that seemed to get worse despite continuous interventions. On Thursday former FDC president Kizza Besigye came to the singer's rescue when he went to Mulago hospital and requested for her to be transferred to IHK in Kisugu -Namuwongo after being briefed about her worsening condition. Besigye had been briefed by medics at Mulago that Kisakye had liver, kidney and lung complications and the organs were not functioning well. The singer was famous for songs like Gyenvudde tebibadde birungi, Kandahar, Kinigeria and other more R.I.P

Reports indicate AK47 was beaten first, and then went to the bathroom to clean up, where he is thought to have slipped and fallen.
