The district leadership has intervened and halted the planting of grass on St. Andrew Kaggwa S.S.S Kasaala play ground until proper leveling of the ground is completed.

This was during on-site monitoring visit by the District Education Officer (DEO), Principal Assistant Secretary (PAS), District Engineer, Natural resources and Environment officers and Internal Auditor.

PAS Musisi Henry, expressed concerns about the quality of work being done by the contractor.
"We take the well-being of Luwero's children very seriously," Henry emphasized. "We cannot allow shoddy work to compromise the quality of this project. The playing field needs to be properly leveled to ensure its functionality and safety for students."
The development of the school's field is 50M UGX.

An uneven surface could lead to issues like poor drainage and potentially increase the risk of injuries for students using the field.
PAS Henry tasked the school management to maintain close oversight of the construction process.

The CAO Asaba Innocent has held a joint management meeting between the SAS/ TC and the District Executive Committee to address service delivery gaps, where he warned the SAS/TCs against absenteeism, extortion or illegally obtaining money from the public.`

The CAO advised the administrators to prioritize transparency, accountability and also display public information for all stake holders’ consumption, among these was Engineers to make simple B.O.Qs easier for other leaders to interpret.

The District Chairperson Erasto Kibirango asked the administrators to work with the S/C and TC leadership in order to restore Luwero District image. He warned them against arrogance, concealing information from LC III Chairpersons and also failure to explain the different policies and circulars to the communities.

The District Chairperson added: “SAS/TC need to have a right attitude, passion and commitment towards work and as political leaders we shall detach ourselves from any incompetent non performers regardless of their social heredity origin.”
The District Chairperson asked CAO not to renew any administrator’s appointment who has failed to comply with efficient and effective service delivery.

On the other hand, the SAS/TC requested the District Chairperson to engage the political leaders who have continuously used social media to insult and falsely accuse the technical staff without fact findings. The CAO has advised them to collect evidence or information of defamation by the political actors.
