When you can provide a community service and train it makes it even better.

We performed a water shuttle and wet the horse arena at The Governor’s School of Agriculture at John Delahowe this evening.

Little ol Bethai Fire Department got a call from a great young man today.

This afternoon I got a phone call while I was on my tractor working around the house. A young man asked if he could get a FD patch, take a virtual tour of our FD, and see the lights on our trucks. I told him that we were a small volunteer FD and that the next time I was at the station, l would call him. He texted me his name and address so I could send patches. I finally slowed down from working around the house after the sun set and Googled his name. What I thought was a prank phone call turned out to be legit. I discovered Brock Hathaway, from Claverack, New York and thought WOW, what a honor it was to get a call from him. This young man wanted to be a fireman, but due to his cerebral palsy he is unable to fight fires, so he started a 501C to help people and to raise money to help victims of fires and fire departments all across the country. Read this article below to see what an amazing young man Brock is.
