Live from inside the MHA meeting this morning: We are at the White Oak Branch of the Montgomery County Public Library in a meeting room. Our new By-Laws passed with a 33.33% quorum. The Executive Committee is now known as the Board of Directors. We are in the process of selecting our nominating committee for our next election which, according to our new By-Laws, must be completed by November 30, 2015. We would also like to thank Nancy from the NARI Metro DC Chapter for talking to the Board and attending membership about the National Association of the Remodeling Industry.

09/08/2015

Just a reminder, the next Executive Committee meeting is Saturday, September 19th, 2015 from 10:30 am to 1:00 pm. MHA members are welcome to attend. The location has changed to:

Montgomery County Library
11701 New Hampshire Avenue
Silver Spring, MD 20904
(Next to the Mont. Co. Police Station District 3.)

One agenda item will be counting the votes from our members and ratifying our new By-Laws.

08/20/2015

Don't forget to mail in your votes for the changes to our By-Laws. We only need 10 more votes! We have had a great turnout so far, but we still have a little ways to go in order to ratify the new By-Laws at our September meeting. Thank you for all of your support. These changes are designed to strengthen the organization allowing us to grow and complete our mission more efficiently and effectively in the future.
