First, a huge THANK YOU to everyone who has been reaching out and alerting us to this.

A website called JJW Farm Sanctuary is using photos of our animals to advertise turtles for sale. These are OUR animals, and they are NOT for sale.

They’ve used photos of Otis multiple times, attaching different descriptions and prices to him. They’ve also listed our Red Dragon for $900 as a “Hybrid red shell eastern box turtle,” which is so embarrassingly inaccurate that it would be hilarious if they weren’t using our turtle to advertise an animal for sale.

Garden State Tortoise does not sell animals. Otis isn’t for sale. Red Dragon isn’t for sale. None of our animals are for sale.

Please DO NOT SEND MONEY to any website using our photos.

And to whoever is running this operation: if you’re going to steal our turtle photos, at least learn what the hell you’re looking at. Calling Red Dragon a “hybrid red shell eastern box turtle” is like stealing a picture of a giraffe and listing it as a long neck horse. 🥴

Our animals are residents, not your sales catalog.
