Join Family and MWR for the biggest Easter celebration this side of the Mississippi! We're laying out a warm welcome for the Easter Bunny with the Easter-avaganza Color Explosion and Holiday Parade Saturday, April 19. The fun runs from noon-4pm at Biggs Park on East Fort Bliss. The parade starts at noon at the front of Biggs Park and will follow a route that is approximately one mile long.
Take part in the Easter parade with decorated strollers, bikes, scooters, wagons and more ... the sky is the limit, as long as your vehicle is non-motorized. No motorized vehicles will be allowed along the parade route. Pets are allowed along the parade route, but not inside Biggs Park. Parade pre-registration is encouraged - it helps us allot the right amount of time for the parade, and plan the correct amount of security to keep everyone safe while we're having fun. Fill out the form at www.blissmwr.com/easter to pre-register. Please arrive before the start time to line up for the parade.
Once you're in the park, enjoy free color explosions and free photos with the Easter Bunny. Get creative and have fun with colorful games and crafts presented by Fort Bliss family readiness groups - all proceeds raised will benefit the FRGs' unit funds.
