Today is World Oceans Day. The theme for World Oceans Day in 2021 is 'The Ocean: Life & Livelihoods'. The aim of this year's campaign is to "shed light on the wonder of the ocean and how it is our lifesource, supporting humanity and every other organism on Earth". San Onofre is saved.
Last week, Governor Newsom signed Assembly Bill (AB) 1426 by Assemblymember Tasha Boerner Horvath (D-Encinitas), which ensures that no road infrastructure can be built that impacts or encroaches on San Onofre State Beach.
