Great news from our Boys & Girls Club of Aiken! So exciting to be offering homeschool packet help and child care again. While these services are very limited due to COVID-19 we know that things are getting tough for some parents who are being asked to return to work.

After cleaning all day and making sure all supplies are ready, we are happy to announce that we will be reopening our Boys and Girls Club Monday May 11th . If you need child care we are here. 640 Lauren’s St. Due to safety we can only have limited numbers so we will only be taking the first 20 children at this time. The charge will be $50 a week and hours of operation are 9am to 5pm. Please call 8032260725 for more information.

Please share as we gather thoughts on how we can reopen our youth programs to help with homework packets, also help working parents with child care. Only helpful positive feed back or it will be deleted. We are just in the beginning phases and are looking for those questions to be answered and address concerns that will help us help our community. Please read post below:

Parents, Friends and Family; The governor is lifting a lot of orders starting tomorrow. Many of you have remained at work trying to figure out how to juggle everything including homeschooling your children. And many of you will be returning to work and need to figure out how you will be juggling all that. We are here to help. We are making plans to reopen and would love to hear from you. Please share this post with your friends and family. We are gathering information on how we can help and what your biggest concerns would be when we reopen. We are sending out a survey tomorrow but would love to see your comments here.

Do you think this would be helpful to allow the kids a couple hours to get homeschool packet help?
Do you feel having access to the computers and internet is needed for your child to complete their work?
Do you believe this is too much of a risk even if we stayed under the limits the governor has in place?

ONLY POSITIVE HELPFUL FEEDBACK, this is not a bashing session. Or It will be removed.
We really are trying to help our families with youth get through this difficult time.
God bless and know our thoughts and prayers are with you all.
