Valor Home Harry Donovan, Jr. Valor Home in Summit County offers transitional and permanent supportive housing options for homeless veterans. At Harry Donovan, Jr.

Our mission is to support homeless veterans in our community in their efforts to achieve greater self-sufficiency, including the ability to secure and maintain permanent housing. Valor Home in Summit County is a transitional housing program for homeless veterans. We provide 24/7 support with structured and engaging therapies throughout the week, which include art therapy, music therapy, life skill

s, and stress management. Each veteran is provided an individual room during their stay and lives at the Valor Home for an average of 6 to 12 months with an end goal of gaining permanent housing. Valor Home, we provide support services to residents both on-site and in the community. Each resident is assigned a support worker and has a daily routine that includes self-improvement activities, exercises in self-sufficiency, and personal time. Valor Home is indebted to Harry Donovan for his generous support that combined two of his great passions—feeding people and helping veterans. At age 17, he enlisted in the Navy to protect the America that he loved. He earned a Purple Heart for his service and learned valuable skills he later took to his business as a CPA. Throughout his life, Harry gave to many with love and belief in helping his fellow man without any reluctance. Eligibility for enrollment with Harry Donovan, Jr. Valor Home includes:
~Must be a veteran
~Must be homeless
~At least 18 years of age
~Able to live in an environment with people from a variety of backgrounds, sexual orientations, races,
colors, cultures, disabilities, and ages

While living in our facilities, veterans can be provided with bus passes, security deposit assistance, rent assistance, help with finding or maintaining employment, referrals for assistance to obtain benefits, help accessing child care, help with obtaining school supplies, and more.

We here at Valor Home want to take this moment to that all of our supporters and for answering our call for assistance to provide home cooked and prepared meals for our 36 bed transitional housing facility!

For those who are not aware, since 2013, Harry Donovan Jr. Valor Home has provided a safe harbor for .
Our program provides critical service of providing the basic needs of a warm bed, shelter and case management.

Our priority is to assist Veteran to regain independency and provide permanent housing solutions for our Veterans.

Please continue to assist us to provide lunch or dinner while we work on a solution.
