I served as E&E on 8 airframes and was also an MTI (Basic Training Drill Sgt), a MTL (Tech Training Drill Sgt) and ran 2 Base Honor Guards, performing Drill and Ceremony now for over 38 yrs. Code: Title 4 — FLAG AND SEAL, SEAT OF GOVERNMENT, AND THE STATES & US Code Title 36 - PATRIOTIC SOCIETIES AND OBSERVANCES, CHAPTER 10 - PATRIOTIC CUSTOMS. WOW! Joe's Italian Alamogordo just tossed in 2 pans of lasagna, garlic bread, and salad for about 20 1st Responders!!!

Plz know he was ready to give us a lot more, but this is about the whole community coming together for our heroes.

That's exactly what we need, a lot of people to do what is within their time and budget. I don't need or want 1 person or business to donate 200 folks worth of food, I need a bunch of folks to go to one of our markets and buy a pie or cookies or rolls or a tub of potato salad for a few bucks and drop it off on Christmas Eve.

As promised, the informal speech I gave to the Holloman AFB Steel Talons Honor Guard on Tuesday at a Flag Burning Ceremony where they properly disposed of about 500 unserviceable flags.

Somehow when I posted yesterday, the actual video didn't load, so here it is.🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️

It was my great honor to speak and offer some mentorship to the young troops that are the current Ceremonial Guardsmen on my old team. And the setting, up in the mountains near Cloudcroft NM was beautiful and a perfect setting for it.🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

The Holloman AFB NM Steel Talons Honor Guard flag burning ceremony to properly disposed of old unserviceable flags in the beautiful mountains near Cloudcroft NM.

It was my great honor to be asked to join them for this solemn ceremony. I love seeing the new troops upholding the ceremonies and traditions of our Air Force and nation.
