Happy Kings Day 😉

50+ years in office.
40+ years in office.
30+ years in office.

At what point does public service turn into a lifetime career?

This isn’t about party! It’s both sides.
The system rewards staying in power, not fixing problems.

Meanwhile, regular people are working two jobs just to get by.

We don’t need career politicians. We need leadership that understands real life again, not a system that protects itself.

Career politicians shouldn’t be the ones deciding whether they get to stay in power.

If we want real change, term limits should be decided by voters at the ballot box, not by the politicians who benefit from the current system.

Government works best when there are new voices, fresh ideas, and real accountability.

Put term limits for politicians on the ballot. Let the people decide.

Jesse Jackson Jr. made it clear that his father’s funeral was not supposed to be political. Funerals are meant to bring people together: family, friends, and even those who may disagree and to remember someone’s legacy. Instead, what should have been a unifying moment became another stage for division.

It was disappointing to see politics injected into a moment that should have been about respect, reflection, and honoring a man’s life.

Regardless of party or ideology, there should be a basic level of respect for a family’s wishes during such a personal and emotional time. Turning a funeral into a political platform not only ignores those wishes, it deepens the very divisions so many people say they want to heal.

Some things are bigger than politics.

Too often in Albany, people stay quiet because it’s easier to go along than to speak up.

We’re told everything is about public safety, yet our neighborhoods still struggle with violence. We’re told housing policies will make things more affordable, yet rent and property taxes keep rising. And when someone questions it, they’re labeled as difficult or extreme.

But asking questions isn’t extreme. Wanting safer streets isn’t extreme. Wanting housing people can actually afford isn’t extreme.
Wanting to make homeownership attainable in the city of Albany isn’t acting like a Republican!

Real progress starts when people stop accepting the same talking points and start demanding honesty and accountability from the people in power.

If we want Albany to be better, more people need to be willing to stand up and speak the truth even when it’s unpopular.

When government becomes the slumlord, families are displaced without any care and taxpayers end up paying millions that could’ve went to other community organizations and initiatives.
Lincoln Square Towers should never have been allowed to crumble.

These organizations once helped move Albany forward. Today, they’re dominated by a socialist ideology that puts theory over results. It’s time to be honest about that reality and work toward real change. Let’s take back our party!

Watch the full video. Take a look at our city. See for yourself what’s really happening.
