Sanctuary Stage

Sanctuary Stage We strive to bring to the forefront the stories of micro-communities found within the larger community of the Pacific Northwest.

Community Engaged Theater Making is a process by which topical issues and interests concerning micro-communities are brought to the forefront. This process involves the collaboration and participation of members of these communities and our creative team of theater practitioners. The objective of this process is the development and production of a play devised through this collaboration and presen

ted to the community-at-large. Projects of this nature create a dialogue, builds bridges between communities and gives a voice to the voiceless. These projects would not be possible without our community partners and participants.
