This Labor Day, we’re celebrating the people who keep our communities moving.

From the people who care for our children and neighbors to the people who build, teach, serve, create, and keep our local businesses running—work is at the heart of a thriving community.

At United Way of Linn, Benton & Lincoln Counties, we believe everyone should have the opportunity to build a stable future for themselves and their families.

Today, we’re grateful for the workers, employers, and community partners who help make our region stronger every day.

Happy Labor Day! ❤️

United is the Way. 💙

What happens when United Way leaders and changemakers come together to learn, challenge our thinking, and imagine what’s possible?

We find new ideas.
We build new connections.
We reconnect with longtime colleagues.
And we leave ready to lead through complexity and change.

The 2026 Western Regional Conference: United is the Way: Bold, Resilient, Transformative brought our United Way network together in Portland for meaningful conversations, new perspectives, and a shared look at what’s ahead.

Most importantly, the people who came together made this conference what it was. Thank you to United Way Worldwide for bringing us together, and to the United Way colleagues, sponsors, community partners, and educators who showed up with their ideas, experiences, curiosity, energy, and willingness to connect.

We left inspired—and ready to turn what we learned into action for our organizations and communities.

United is the Way. 🌎💙

Dolly’s legacy is growing right here at home. ❤️📚

Pig Out for Parton may be over, but the impact continues to grow.

Since Dolly Parton’s passing, our community has responded in an incredible way. More than 400 new children have registered for Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library in Linn, Benton, and Lincoln counties, and community members have also stepped up with generous donations to help more children receive books.

And we’re close to unlocking a $25,000 matching gift from the Wheeler Family Charitable Fund.

Couldn’t join us for Pig Out for Parton? You can still be part of the impact.

Help us unlock the full match and put even more free, high-quality books into the hands of local children.

💙 September is a month to come together for our communities.

This month, we’re recognizing National Preparedness Month, Hunger Action Month, and National Literacy Month—three important opportunities to strengthen our communities today and build a stronger tomorrow.

🌪️ Preparedness helps our communities be ready when challenges arise.

📚 Literacy helps give children the foundation they need to learn, grow, and reach their full potential.

A big thank you to Sybaris Bistro for partnering with us for Pig Out for Parton, presented by Citizens Bank! We’re grateful to have community partners who help us bring people together to make a difference for local kids—and we can’t wait to see everyone on Sunday! 👇❤️📚

SOLD OUT!

We’re happy to be opening our doors this Sunday for “Pig Out for Parton”, a United Way of Linn, Benton & Lincoln Counties event presented by Citizens Bank.

This year’s dinner carries a little extra meaning as we remember Dolly Parton and the remarkable legacy she built through Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library. Millions of books, millions of children, and a pretty wonderful example of what can happen when you put a little generosity out into the world.

As Dolly sang, “I will always love you.” This Sunday, there will certainly be a lot of love for Dolly around our tables.

Matt is preparing a five-course dinner for the evening, paired with wines from Scariano W**es. Guests will be seated family-style, there’ll be some Heads or Tails fun, and it all supports United Way’s work to get books into the hands of local kids.

And there are only ~20 seats left. (!!!)

If you’d like to join us and the United Way this Sunday at 5pm, give us a call at 541-928-8157 to reserve your seat.

United Way is doing the good work. Matt’s making dinner. We’re delighted Sybaris gets to be where everyone gathers.

We think Dolly would approve. 🦋

⛳️ Team building, United Way style!

We stepped away from the office today for some mini golf and lunch—and naturally, everyone came away with a title:

🏆 Bobby: Hole-in-One
🍟 Chris: Club Breaker — playing for onion rings 😂
😂 Kevin: Got Robbed… and Still Won
📣 Carol: Team Cheerleader — cheering everyone on and helping others better their scores

Some of us brought the golf game. Some brought the competition. Some brought the encouragement. 😂

Different strengths, one team. And a pretty great way to spend an afternoon together!
