Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham

Today is New Mexico's largest ever single-day COVID-19 case increase.

I know we're tired. I know we're frustrated that it's not safe to do what we're used to being able to do. But COVID-19 is real. And no one’s life is worth the risk.

Please recommit to stopping the spread.

Today's update from the New Mexico Department of Health:

- 488 new COVID-19 cases, totaling 32,241 cases statewide

- Three additional deaths, totaling 902 deaths statewide

- 133 individuals currently hospitalized with COVID-19, a 49% increase in one week

- 8% daily positivity rate
