Honor American Society of Radiologic Technologists's first 100 years and help shape its next 100 by participating in the ASRT Foundation’s 100 for 100 centennial campaign.
The Foundation has set an ambitious Centennial fundraising goal of $100,000, and with your help, we can achieve it. If you donate less than $100 over a year’s time, increase your giving to $100 during that same time period. Or, if you typically give once a year, consider upgrading your annual gift or becoming a monthly donor. Chances are, you’ll hardly notice the slight bump in giving. But the Foundation will notice it big time. #ASRTCentennial

Obion Co. Public Library was awarded the ASRT Foundation National Library Partnership Grant. This grant allowed the library to purchase 59 books. The new Radiologic Science section dedication coincided with NRTW in Union City, TN on 11/6/18. Michele Barnes, Director and staff did a fabulous job displaying all the books!
Jonathan Mazal International Outreach Grant In memory of Jonathan Mazal, M.S., R.R.A., R.T.(R)(MR)(CI), the Jonathan Mazal International Outreach Grant was recently established in part by the Radiologist Assistant Chapter because of his passion for life, the profession and improving health care in underserved communities around the globe. In April 2018, news of Jonathan Mazal’s recent CT scan results were shocking. I was aware of him being diagnosed with melanoma a few years prior. The first words he stated were, “6 months or less from my oncologist” ... These words from Jonathan still echo in my head. We as radiologic technologist witness and treat these types of disease manifestations on a daily basis. It was hard to accept this prognosis for a young man of such talent, energy and passion for radiologic sciences in America and abroad. Jonathan passed away on May 18th. Due to my personal experience and relationship with Jonathan “Yoni”, along with other RA’s, we felt compelled to initiate and donate to a fund that would continue his passion and mission for international outreach. It is our hope that through this grant his legacy and good deeds will persist and that the unfortunate ending of one life will spark passion in numerous lives to carry on his selflessness. Donations to the grant are being accepted on the ASRT Foundation’s website. Please be sure to select the Jonathan Mazal International Outreach Grant selection from the dropdown menu. Any donation in or over the amount of $200 will receive a book comprised of Jonathan’s articles published in ASRT’s scholarly journals and news magazine. We're currently #fundraising for the grant on @ASRT Foundation’s website: https://apps.asrt.org/foundation/donation/donate.aspx?Amount=200&ProductId=107975 https://www.facebook.com/MyASRT/ https://www.facebook.com/asrtfoundation/

Sneak peek of my Radiologic Textbook... If you're a Radiology Student you'll want to look out for this soon. I aced registry with the material (and tutored others to success as well) I created and I had Lyme (not as severe) then too. These materials have led me to receive both national and state accolades, and be featured on the June 2016 cover of the national ASRT magazine. I want to see what you can do (without Lyme) with these materials. FEEL FREE to share, you may save an RT student's life.
