Seeking the Positive...
Judging from what most media showed us, 2017 was nothing but misery. Here's proof that they're wrong.
It's important to watch this. Why? Because fear mongering news just makes us numb and depressed. Fear feeds hate, whilst progress motivates.
Do you agree we need to hear more positive news in 2018? We sure do. Are you in?

Each year the LGBTIQ Community of New Mexico comes together to celebrate our diversity. Join us at the free event as we parade down LOMAS Blvd.
After 40 years on Central Ave. Albuquerque Pride will be moving the parade to a new location due to construction along the former route. Safety is a high propriety for all of our particpants.

*Animals that are walking in the parade MUST have proper foot protection to ensure that the hot asphalt does not scorch their paws/feet. Additionally, any animal on the Parade route must be kept properly hydrated. In accordance with City ordinances you are responsible for cleaning up after your animals in the Parade assembly area and along the Parade route.
This year’s theme “Solidarity through Pride” gives us the opportunity to reflect on the history of the LGBTIQ community in New Mexico.
It starts at 10:00 am and is a free event open to all ages. Albuquerque Pride Inc. has worked hard to make the parade fun, safe and enjoyable for all. From safety rules for the floats, encouragement to make the floats POP and a plan for clean up after the parade, it is sure to be an event to remember! We have floats, classic cars, motorcycles, horses, dancers and lots of excitement in the 2nd largest parade in New Mexico.
