Happy Labor Day!I know what it feels like to make a payroll as a business owner, and I also know what it feels like to work in an attic all day in 100 degree temperatures, dig trenches in rock hard ground, and shovel snow when it’s subzero outside. I don’t just own a landscaping and plumbing business, but I do the work too, right along-side my employees.
On this Labor Day I reflect on the importance of the working people of our community. I’m so grateful for my employees. They are dedicated and hardworking. They enable me and my business to thrive. My employees are the reason for the success of my business, which is why I treat employees like the partners they are. All of the working people of our community deserve to be treated fairly with respect and dignity. No-one should have to work full-time for wages that leave them below the poverty line.

I’m so proud to have earned the support of so many labor unions and today, on Labor Day, I’m proud to announce the support of three more!
