I want to sincerely thank everyone who supported me throughout this campaign for the Greenbrier County Board of Education race.

While this wasn’t the outcome I had hoped for, I’m incredibly grateful for every conversation, kind word, and show of support along the way. Running this campaign gave me the opportunity to connect with so many people in our community and hear what matters most when it comes to the future of our schools.

I ran because I care deeply about our students, educators, and public education in Greenbrier County, and that commitment will continue.
Congratulations to those elected. I hope they lead with transparency, collaboration, and a strong commitment to putting students first.

It is Primary Election Day. 🗳️

No matter where you stand or who you support, today is a reminder of how important it is that each of us takes the time to participate in the process. Voting is one of the simplest but most meaningful ways we can show up for our community and for the future we want to build together.

I have always believed that real change starts at the local level, with people who care enough to get involved and make their voices heard. Today is an opportunity for all of us to do exactly that.

If you have not made it to the polls yet, I encourage you to take a few moments out of your day to vote.

Every voice matters. Every vote matters.

Let’s show up for our community today.

As Teacher Appreciation Week comes to a close, I want to take a moment to sincerely thank all of the teachers, school staff, and educators in our community.

Teaching is not just a job. It is a calling that requires patience, compassion, creativity, and dedication every single day. Our teachers help shape the future of Greenbrier County by encouraging, supporting, and believing in our children, often while carrying challenges that many people never see.

As someone who has worked closely with children and families throughout my career, I know how important strong educators are to the success and well being of our communities. The impact a caring teacher can have on a child lasts far beyond the classroom.

Thank you for the long hours, the encouragement, the extra effort, and the care you give to our students every day. Your work matters, and our community is stronger because of you.

Please join me in thanking our teachers and school employees for everything they do. 🍎📚

A big thank you to The Real WV for hosting Tuesday night’s candidate forum and for the invitation to be part of such an important conversation.

Events like this matter. They give our community a chance to hear directly from candidates, ask questions, and stay informed about the decisions that shape our schools and our future. Open dialogue and civic engagement are essential to a strong, transparent, and accountable education system.

I’m grateful for the opportunity to connect with so many community members and to be part of a space that encourages thoughtful discussion and participation.

It was an honor and a pleasure to speak last night at the Greenbrier County Democratic Women's Club candidate forum, and to hear from two other knowledgeable and capable women running for reelection to the Greenbrier County Board of Education. We share the goals of supporting our students, public education, and educators and school service personnel. I hope you will vote for me on May 12th so I have the opportunity to work alongside them in pursuit of these common goals.

In the meantime, we have work to do! I hope you will consider making a donation of any size to my campaign. Please stay tuned for more information on how this campaign will turn your dollars into real, tangible support for Greenbrier County Schools students.

As we head into the Greenbrier County Board of Education race, I think it’s really important to remember something simple but meaningful, this is a nonpartisan election.

This race isn’t about political parties or national issues. It’s about our students, our teachers, and the future of our local schools. It’s about making thoughtful decisions that support learning, safety, and opportunity for every child in our county.

When we start drawing party lines in a race like this, it can actually take us further away from what matters most. It can create unnecessary division and shift the focus away from real conversations about education, resources, and how we support our students and educators every day.

When we head to the polls, our focus should be on what truly matters. Who will listen to our community? Who will show up for our students? Who is committed to doing the work and making a difference?

Our kids deserve leaders who are focused on them, not party lines. Let’s keep the conversation centered on what’s best for Greenbrier County schools.
