First responders depend on clearly marked homes to find medical emergencies, house fires, and public safety issues.

You can buy house numbers online or at any hardware store to clearly mark your home or the mailbox.

Here is the requirement:

Be legible and visible from the street or road.
Contrast with their background for better visibility.
Be at least 4 inches in height.

ALEDO YOUTH SOCCER REGISTRATION - NOW OPEN

You spoke, and we listened! We're excited to announce the inaugural season of Aledo Youth Soccer! Registration is now open for ages 3-14.

You can register online or at the Mercer County YMCA until August 17. But don't wait because you don't want to miss your chance.

There are two Q&A events at the YMCA where you can register in person.
Thursday, August 6, 5-7 p.m.
Saturday, August 8, 10 a.m. - noon

Registration ranges from $25-$45, depending on the league.
