We had the pleasure of hearing from three of our #ESGR 2019 Volunteers of the Year during a panel discussion last week.

They shared what contributes to their success:

- Passion for our #mission to support #NationalGuard and #Reserve Service members and their #employers;
- Strong communication skills;
- Mentoring fellow volunteers and keeping them engaged;
- Flexibility and adapting to changing circumstances; and
- Willingness to learn new skills
Kudos to these incredible individuals and thank you for taking the time to share your wisdom and insights!

Six volunteers in all were recognized with this honor, and collectively these dedicated patriots logged a combined 2,048 hours of service to ESGR and the Department of Defense in 2019 alone, the equivalent of a year’s worth of 40-hour work weeks! We are so grateful for all of our volunteers!
