The ARCS is more than just a disaster-relief organization, they work to reunite families across the country, bring about change in local communities, and train volunteers to make a difference.

As the Red Cross Youth Task Force, we aim to bring about change within our own TJ community.

Treating Bruises

First Aid for Treating Bruises:

1.) Reduce swelling by applying ice on and off for 24 hours
2.) If pain occurs, take Tylenol, Advil, Aleve, etc.
3.) If bruise is accompanied by extreme pain, swelling, or redness, call a doctor
4.) Two days afterwards, apply a heat pack or wash cloth soaked in warm water

Through this page, we will mostly focus on education and awareness pertaining to healthcare and aid. The task force aims to teach the public about essential first aid skills such as CPR through different medias. Our member volunteers work to improve the health of our community.
