After a fight with our shredder 🤼, this picture was taken. As you can see, I wonder if I won or lost 🤔. However, the rest of the story:

Happy Anniversary to me! 🎉 Yes, even Directors have them. When HR Specialist Denise Erhard informed me that I was the only person supporting the United States Marshals Service with an anniversary in February, she wished me a Happy Three-Year Anniversary 🎂. I attempted to convince her I deserved a company car (BMW preference) 🚗, a trip to Portugal 🇵🇹, and a new ink pen 🖊️. I don’t think my request was well received as I still drive a Hooptie 🚙. My trip was from home to the office, and the new ink pen I received was not new!

As an update - Upon my return from my latest TDY trip, I opened a package that contained the following:

A Matchbox BMW touring series SUV 🚙.
Four each, The Ohio State Buckeyes ink pens (new)! ✒️✒️✒️✒️
5 Portugal Mixed Coins 💰.
The absolute best is a box of Buckeye candy 🍬. If you haven’t had them, you must try them!

🥶🌊 David Steger Takes the Plunge! - Annapolis Polar Bear Plunge 2024 🌊🥶

What an exhilarating day for Mayvin’s very own David Steger, who bravely participated in the 2024 Annapolis Polar Bear Plunge! Despite the chilly weather, with air temperatures hovering around 45 degrees, David joined hundreds of daring souls in taking a dip into the bay's 39-degree waters.

🧊 The atmosphere was electric, and the camaraderie among participants was heartwarming. David's enthusiasm and courage were truly inspiring as he dived into the icy waves, proving his mettle and supporting a great cause. David dedicated himself to this year's Polar Bear Plunge to raise both funds and awareness for the Special Olympics, an extraordinary organization that empowers athletes with intellectual disabilities.

We're so proud of David's commitment and spirit. Way to go, David! ❄️🏊‍♂️
