This is a post from little Lily’s mom. Please continue to keep our FEO Jacob Butterfield ‘s baby girl in your thoughts and prayers:

Lily has been doing great! The doctors have been able to wean her off a lot of stuff and she is tolerating her feeds well. They are even bring up possible extubation in the near future. This is exciting and terrifying all at once. If Lily can’t tolerate coming off the ventilator then she would have to get a trach. If she tolerates coming off of the ventilator then they would place her on a cpap. Prayer warriors please pray for Lily’s little body and lungs. Pray that when it comes time for the doctors to try and take her off the vent that her little body can handle it and that her right lung is strong enough to support her and keep doing the work of both lungs. We don’t know when or how soon they will try this but with every passing day she is able to come down and off a lot of drips and medications and that moves us closer to being ready.
