The American Civics Center is an innovative, non-partisan organization that provides quality education programs aimed to teach civics, history, government and politics to students in middle & high school. ACC also provides programs for teachers and adults of all ages.

2019 BOMLA Washington DC Trip with American Civics Center. We visited Mount Vernon, the Thomas Jefferson Memorial, The National Museum of African American History and Culture, the US Holocaust Museum and the Pentagon 9/11 National Memorial.
Day 5 of the annual BOMLA trip to Washington DC with American Civics Center. On Day Five we visited the US Supreme Court, the US Capital, met with our Representative Eddie Bernice Johnson and the had the pleasure of visiting one of the newest Smithsonian’s – the National Museum of African American History and Culture. We want to thank Chris, Anna, Dave, Mrs. Rene and all the others at the American Civics Center for making this trip bot Fun and Educational.
Day 4 of the annual BOMLA trip to Washington DC with American Civics Center. On Day Four we visited Arlington Cemetery, saw the Einstein statue (Mr. Lacy met his HERO), saw the Vietnam War Memorial, saw the Lincoln Memorial, met Veterans from World War 2, the Korean War and the Vietnam War on an Honor Flight, saw the Korean War Memorial, did a Walk About in DC, saw the National Archives (Declaration of Independence, US Constitution and the Bill of Rights), saw the Natural History Museum and finally the Pentagon 9-11 Memorial.
Day 3 of the annual BOMLA trip to Washington DC with American Civics Center. On Day Three we visited the home of George Washington – Mt Vernon, the Smithsonian US History Museum, the US Holocaust Museum, did a Walk About in DC and took pictures in front of the White House.
