The American Civics Center works with middle school & high school students in the US and internationally to teach civics, history, government & politics.
The American Civics Center is an innovative, non-partisan organization that provides quality education programs aimed to teach civics, history, government and politics to students in middle & high school. ACC also provides programs for teachers and adults of all ages.

Taking it home. The students had to prepare a strategic plan of a service project to take to their host communities and then to their home countries. Every team had a different project, but the overall theme was volunteerism and community activism.
We also visited the Woodrow Wilson International Center for a briefing on The Geopolitics of Low Oil Prices moderated by John Milewski.
We visited the Martin Luther King, Jr. memorial and asked students to find their favorite quote among the quotes carved into the marble walls of the memorial. Which one strikes you?
Our students enjoyed an afternoon at the Museum of Natural History.
We had a great week with FLEX and ASMYLE students from Russia, Serbia, Montenegro,Georgia, Ukraine, Armenia, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Moldova, Kyrgyzstan, Azerbaijan and Iran. 116 students!
Looking forward to seeing ASMYLE students on March 15 in Washington, DC.
