The Central Louisiana Economic Development Alliance (CLEDA) is a non-profit created to provide leadership and support for the ten parishes of Central Louisiana. Our goal is to improve economic outcomes and opportunities in the region. CLEDA’s work falls into three primary categories:
Major Employers: The recruitment, expansion and retention of businesses within the region.
Knowledge Platforms: Pursues rapid improvements in educational outcomes and workforce readiness.
Regional Innovation: Uses the principles of entrepreneurship and innovation to transform the regional economy.
Central Louisiana parishes (counties) are Allen, Avoyelles, Catahoula, Concordia, Grant, LaSalle, Natchitoches, Rapides, Vernon and Winn.
The mission of the Central Louisiana Economic Development Alliance is to help people prosper in vibrant, thriving communities.
