Part of George Mason's I-Week, join us in the JC Cinema as students in the Department of Modern and Classical Languages perform different poems, songs, dances, and plays in the foreign language they are studying.
This year's event will begin with a workshop by GMU's own Dr. Monica Mulholland on using drama for foreign language instruction.
The following languages will be represented: Portuguese, Korean, Irish, German, Chinese, Russian, Japanese, Spanish, Arabic, Turkish, and French.
Intermission will be at 6pm with light refreshments being served.

7th Brazilian Film Week presents Jonathas' Florest. Jonathas lives with his family in the Amazon and sells local products. There he meets Milly, a visitor from the Ukraine, and the Amerindian Kedassere. Seduced by Milly and the forest, Jonathas undertakes his most transformative journey when he decides to embark on an adventure.
The film will be presented on Saturday, October 26, at 5:00 pm; Tuesday, October 29, at 7:30 pm; and Thursday, October 31, at 7:30 pm. Admission is FREE. All films in Portuguese with English subtitles.
