It is wonderful to experience what paths your life guides you to. When I started my real estate career in 2007, I decided to focus on helping first time homebuyers by giving workshops on how to prepare for home buying. We covered such items like credit, affordability, responsibilities of owning a home, and finance. I was very successful in working with this group for many years. It brought much satisfaction for me keeping in touch throughout the years in how their lives were changing.
For the past couple of years my clients in the older age group of 55+ have brought me a different kind of client base and satisfaction. Helping this age group with different priorities has help me to learn about their needs and how I can be of help. So I have done things like help pick out elder communities with one floor living space. Helped with downsizing, estate sales and getting rid of household goods that their children or relatives do not want to inherit. It has brought new challenges for me. I have continued my education on how to help them more, which has expanded my coverage of my abilities to serve more clients.
