Happy Thanksgiving!!!!

If you are a survivor, take some time to reflect on your progress since the early days of your injury/diagnosis. Even the smallest accomplishment is something to be proud of.

If you know a survivor, take today to thank him/her for fighting every day.

Brain Injuries impact all of us. It's not always easy to live withan ABI or maintain a relationship with a survivor, but we must take it one day - one hour - one minute at a time. Every day is a gift for which we should all be thankful.

Happy November!!
First Friday ABI Fact:
Doctors classify Acquired Brain Injury as mild, moderate or severe, depending on whether the injury causes unconsciousness, how long unconsciousness lasts and the severity of symptoms. Although most brain injuries are classified as mild because they're not life-threatening, even a mild brain injury can have serious and long-lasting effects.
