What a day...

Most of the team were attending a team drill in the Indian Reserve Rd area of Alpena County. While at the same time, our 2 drone operators (air / water) were training alongside the Alpena County Sheriff's Office dive team at Tomahawk Lake. During the trainings we were deployed to an active search taking place in Midland, MI. The missing subject, who suffered from alzheimers, was located prior to our arrival so we were notified to stand down while enroute. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family and friends of the subject. 🙏

Last week, we had the opportunity to work with Hillman and Atlanta fire departments to train their personnel in the use of GPS for search operations. GPS helps search management know specifically which areas have been searched, how they were searched, and helps to build a picture so all the pieces of the puzzle can be connected.

It was a pleasure working with these departments and we thank them for their dedication to our communities!
