I would like to Personally Congratulate DaWayne Waldrop for being appointed the New Fire Chief at Altoona Volunteer Fire Department. He's not new to the job, as he was the Vol. Fire Chief prior to me. I had 10 +/- Good Years as Chief of this Department and tried to do my best for the Community prior to my accident on April 2, 2023. I wish him well & know he will be Great at what he does. Congratulations Again!
