We also welcome your input as long as those posts DO NOT include political opinion posts, or personal business solicitation. Those posts will be removed immediately. We will input most youth sporting events (Cardinals, Yankees, Diamonds, and Arrows) including Middle School and High School. We will also post NWOSU events. We will post all ARC and Alva Golf and CC events. We will post City Governmen

Verne Metcalf, long time Alva pharmacist, recently donated his bald eagle collection to the Cherokee Strip Museum. When Verne came to Alva, he worked for Schuhmacher Drug from 1975 until 1994 He then worked at the Walmart pharmacy from 1994 until 2000 and then Holders Drug became his home from 2000…
