Just a reminder, 2019 Teen and Adult Book Nerd participants must turn in reading logs by January 31, 2020 to be eligible for prizes! Teens who complete the challenge will receive a hoodie, and Adults who complete the challenge will receive their choice of a book bag or hoodie (prizes will be awarded mid-February).
Registration for the 2020 Book Nerd Yearlong Reading Challenge for Teens and Adults will start on February 1st, so drop by the Library in February to sign up, check out some great books, and get reading!!!

We're excited for storytimes to get going again!!
We'll be starting with painting a beehive with bubble wrap,
then the second week we'll decorate squirrels using real pine-cones. The third week, we'll make banjos.

CHILDREN’S PROGRAMS WILL START SOON AT THE LIBRARY
Our first Storytime of the school year will be Tuesday, September 10, and Kids Club will start September 11.

STORYTIME is a fun program for preschool-age children every Tuesday and Friday at 10:30 a.m. We have fun stories with puppets, songs, finger plays and crafts each week, as well as early literacy tips. All toddler and preschool-age children are welcome to attend with their parents.

KIDS CLUB is held every Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. Kids Club is an awesome program for school-aged children and offers stories, crafts Lego days, science, games and lots of fun. There is no need to sign up; just come when you can.

“MUNCHING WITH MONET” at the library

Come join us for our last event of the summer, with instructor, Tenille Rudeen. You’ll have fun painting and enjoying refreshments! It will be Wednesday, August 14th at 7:00 pm in the community room of the library.
Painting of the evening: Bring your own choice of picture to paint or finish any masterpiece from an earlier “Munching with Monet” evening.
Pre-registration is required. $15 for a new project with canvas; or finish a past project $5. Space is limited, so sign up today! For ages 18 and up.

Our Children's Summer Reading Program, "A Universe of Stories", concluded last Friday with a “SPLASH DOWN” water party, featuring an inflatable water slide, water games and a toddler splash pool.

It was AWESOME! Went to the Harry Potter Escape Rooms this morning and had a great time! Very well done, ladies. Please do something like this again. It was great for all age groups.
Hello, I'm reaching out to everyone in East Idaho to help spread the word about our new fundraiser. I personally volunteer to honor Christina Wall Brown and I'm hoping you all can attend the event or help get the word out! June 10th we have our first annual Golf scramble/tournament to raise funds for the American Cancer Society. Mackenzie River Pizza will be providing lunch and we'll have raffles and prizes to give away. We need 30 teams and it'll be a fun day of fun, games and good food. $60 per player, or, register and pay before June 2nd and save $10.
