Tonight our fire Prevention team had the pleasure to attend the Willowridge Elementary School “Welcome Back Picnic”. We closed out the fun and activities with a fire safety presentation. Capt Brennan, Firefighters Paul Krisk, Dan Demester Jr, Kevin Rudzinski and Emily Steinberg then held a little competition by racing to see who could get geared up the fastest. FF Krisk took honors in a close race. Great job by all! Great to be back in the community!

The Officers and Firefighters of ECVFC are excited to announce that this morning we were notified that we have received a FEMA AFG grant in the amount of $909,047.62. After many years of discussing ways of replacing our aging Ladder Truck (39 years old) in the future and where to attain the funds, we applied for this AFG grant with the hopes we would be one of the lucky ones. This amount will cover the majority of the cost and the fire company will need to fund an estimated $200,000 on top of this. We feel honored to have received these funds and will work towards writing the specification for the new Apparatus and awarding a bid in the upcoming future.

“The things I do at the @ErieCountyFair. I made it through the crawling and climbing maze at the Fireman's Building (not in record time), and was lapped by a younger constituent. Give it a try yourself and see how you will do. All part of the fun at the #ErieCountyFair. https://t.co/vcjtqvrYvk”
