FYI:

We'll be back at it for the 2026-2027 school year with our weekly Wednesday night singing here in Anadarko at the Kiowa Tribe HHS Building starting next week August 19th and on Wednesday, August 26th. We've added some time to the night for our youth, beginners and special needs participants. We strongly believe it's important to make and take time for everyone to be involved. The doors and the drum are open to all.

Stay tuned for the September dates and also for other events and activities we'll be hosting. We have been thinking about new and different ideas for the program to do and as always, we're thankful for the volunteers that step up to help and make things happen. We truly appreciate your time and effort.

Kiowa tribe Maintenance is around Anadarko. They relayed to me. If there’s any Elders in need of lawn maintenance to call The Tribal Complex at (405)901-9229 and ask for Karen. Karen will take your information and relay it to the lawn crew. And they’ll take your info from you. Ahhhoo and stay hydrated. Oh’bah’hau

Announcement about 2026 Back-to-School Clothing Assistance

Parents & Caregivers of
Kiowa School-Age Children and Youth:
We have heard from many of you and we recognize how essential it is for students to begin a new school year, fully prepared and equipped. We recognize that back-to-school assistance is a fundamental service that tribal nations routinely and annually provide for families of growing school-aged children. We want you to know that the Kiowa Education Agency including ALL of our staff advocate for your needs, and in cooperation & full support from the Legislative and Executive Branches and all of you, the K.I.C., we are proud to announce that Back-to-School clothing cards have been ordered and will be issued through the month of August, 2026.

Today, Wednesday, Jul 29th through August 31st
Please be aware that services provided each year are not guaranteed, but must be approved annually through the budget process. Services and amounts are based on limited funds and projected eligible population to be served as provided by the enrollment office. Amounts may decrease or fluctuate to accommodate an increased applicant pool if necessary.
