I was honored to join our senior community last Thursday and welcome them on behalf of OC Board Chair Supervisor Doug Chaffee at our Senior Fraud Prevention event. We had a fantastic turnout and shared valuable tips to help protect against scams!

had a busy morning today. We had our Future leaders program at the OC Sheriff Coroner office, which is always an interesting presentation and tour. Our team also participated at a Health Fair organized by Senator Tom Umberg’s office!

May was another productive month for us at the OC Supervisor Doug Chaffee’s Office! Here’s what we accomplished:

Gun Buyback Program: We successfully took over 330 fi****ms off the streets, including more than 30 assault rifles.
Cal State Fullerton Partnership:We launched a new stipend program for nursing students.
Health Fair:Our health fair served over 800 residents, providing essential health services and items.
Senior Scam Awareness:We educated our seniors on how to avoid scams

participated in a town hall in Stanton.

I’m incredibly proud of the work we do at Supervisor Chaffee’s office. Our dedicated staff consistently go above and beyond for the communities we serve.

Had a blast at Supervisor Doug Chaffee's office-organized Kids Fishing Derby! Nearly 500 youngsters and their families joined in the fun. It was great to see our community coming together and making the most of Orange County's resource tables . 🎣🌟 Great team effort by !

Wishing Anaheim Police Chief George Cisneors a well deserved retirement. It was a privilege to deliver a proclamation on behalf of Supervisor Doug Chaffee and the entire Board. Collaborating with Chief Cisneors during the pandemic and city protests was truly valuable, as he consistently prioritized the well-being of our families.

Another successful initiative by O.C. Supervisor Doug Chaffee! Great team work by ! Great program providing stipends to Masters in Social Worker students funded by CalOptimaHealth and housed at Cal State Fullerton Department of Social Work! And a full house at the press conference today!

Last night, we received another Golden Bell for our Saturday Language Academy at the CSBA Conference CSBA Golden Bell Award Ceremony. Huge thank you to Dr Renea Bryant for being a cheer leader for the program!

I love this program and glad that AUHSD has been a leader in supporting our newcomers. I was honored to accept this award on behalf of the district. It was my last official ceremony as school board member.

Today, I called Natalie Rubalcava to concede the race for Anaheim City council District 3. I congratulated her on the election results and offered to help in any way I can to make District 3 and Anaheim a better place for our families.

Although there are many votes to count, it does not appear that there are enough votes to overcome the deficit. I want to thank all my friends, neighbors and donors! All of you worked hard and I can’t ask for a better group of folks to call lifelong friends! Overcoming more than $500k funds spent is a tough one! But we did our best! There are many people to thank, but want to specifically thank Paolo Magcalas, Jessica Guerrero, Rosa Dominguez, Alex Hernandez , and Maritza Bermudez ! You guys were their day in day out ! Can’t thank you enough!

A big thank you to my family -my mom, dad, sister, brothers, sis in laws and my Nieces and nephew! And my Mother in Law. Thank you!

I especially want to thank my wife Sameeha and kids for being there throughout this campaign, you guys were my rocks. Can't imagine how I would have made it through this far without you all.

Anaheim has lots of work to be done and I will be there to contribute in the best way possible.
(Side note: we managed to take lots of the signs down due to help from Wesley W. Jones and Steve White- thank you guys! Please let me know if you see signs or help us take them down)
