Join us in celebrating the retirement of Hank Withaar, whose remarkable 32-year career at C.W. Driver Companies has left an indelible legacy across our organization and the communities we serve throughout Southern California.
Since joining C.W. Driver in 1994, Hank has been instrumental in our company’s growth and success. He began his journey managing major retail projects for Robinsons-May, Bloomingdale’s, and Macy’s in Los Angeles, San Diego, and Las Vegas, before becoming a recognized leader in the education market. Hank’s expertise, strategic vision, and commitment to excellence have shaped countless projects and fostered lasting relationships with clients, partners, and team members alike.
As Senior Vice President of Operations, Hank oversaw operations throughout the San Diego region—guiding project teams, supporting business development, and driving operational excellence. His industry knowledge, problem-solving skills, and passion for mentoring made him a trusted leader and invaluable resource across C.W. Driver.
Hank’s impact goes far beyond the projects he delivered. As a master builder, mentor, and leader, he’s shaped generations of construction professionals and helped define the culture of excellence that sets C.W. Driver Companies apart today.

Proud to support Augie’s Quest Walk to End ALS at Angel Stadium on Lou Gehrig Day! Over 260 members of the ALS community, families, friends, volunteers, and sponsors united for one powerful goal: finding a cure for ALS.
A true highlight: our own Sam Cunningham threw out the ceremonial first pitch before the Angels game! Sam’s strength, optimism, and advocacy inspire us all.
Together, we raised over $50,000 for critical ALS research and brought hope to those affected. Honored to stand beside Sam and Augie’s Quest, because incurable is unacceptable.

C.W. Driver Project Executive Jeff Canfield recently joined industry leaders as a panelist at Bisnow’s Southern California K-12 School Real Estate & Facilities Summit.
The discussion focused on planning, modernizing, and investing in learning environments, with insights on the capital improvement pipeline, project funding, procurement strategies, and delivering K-12 projects in today’s challenging construction market.

Exciting changes are underway at Cal State Dominguez Hills!
We're thrilled to help bring the Health, Wellness, and Recreation Center to life, a landmark project designed by LPA and envisioned as a hub for 21st-century student life at CSUDH.
This expansive, 70,000 SF, two-wing center will feature a standard court, Multi-Activity Court (MAC), elevated jogging track, state-of-the-art fitness center, multipurpose rooms, and a dedicated health and wellness center with inspiring spaces for consultation, relaxation, education, and training. Outdoor gathering areas will foster connection, recreation, and a true sense of community.
This is more than just a building, it's a symbol of CSUDH's unwavering commitment to student health, wellness, and vibrant campus life!

Exciting day at our Center for Human Performance & Kinesiology project. We welcomed Norco College students for an exclusive jobsite visit, where they received an inside look at the project through BIM coordination, experienced virtual model flythroughs, learned about estimating, DSA construction, jobsite safety, and toured the jobsite. Connecting future industry leaders with real-world construction experience, this is what building the future looks like!

Excited to see Driver SPG’s latest ROVE project spotlighted in the May edition of the Mann Report!
This is more than a charging stop—it’s a destination. The Costa Mesa facility features 40 DC fast chargers with NACS, CCS, and CHAdeMO connectors, supporting nearly every EV on the road. We transformed a 5,384-SF building into a vibrant amenity hub with a Gelson’s ReCharge market, 24-hour lounge, restrooms, and complimentary Wi-Fi. At ROVE, recharging your car feels just as good as recharging yourself.
