Comprising four vital divisions – Field Operations Support, Emergency Medical Services (EMS), Emergency Management, and Fire Marshal – we are at the forefront of safeguarding lives and property during various emergencies and crises. Emergency Management
This division focuses on comprehensive disaster preparedness, response, recovery, and mitigation. We work tirelessly to develop and implement emer
gency plans, coordinate responses during crises like natural disasters or public health emergencies, and ensure our community is well-prepared to face any situation. Emergency Medical Services
Our Emergency Medical Services (EMS) division is staffed by highly trained paramedics and Emergency Medical Technicians who respond to medical emergencies with speed and expertise. Whether it's a heart attack, accident, or any critical medical situation, our EMS professionals provide immediate care, transportation to hospitals, and play a pivotal role in saving lives. Field Operations Support
Provides vital emergency and non-emergency support for Emergency Services and other county response agencies. Services include countywide radiocommunications, emergency vehicle lighting and equipment, and other technological aspects of day-to-day equipment first responders rely on to do their jobs. Field Ops also provides emergency response support when needed and assists with logistical support for on-scene operations. Fire Marshal
The Fire Marshal division is responsible for fire prevention, code enforcement, and investigation. By conducting safety inspections, enforcing fire codes, and investigating the causes of fires, our fire marshals play a crucial role in reducing the risk of fires and ensuring that buildings and public spaces are safe. Together, these divisions collaborate seamlessly to provide a robust and coordinated approach to emergency services. We are committed to protecting lives and property, promoting safety, and enhancing overall community resilience in the face of various challenges. Your safety is our priority, and we are here to serve you. Safety
Coordinates workplace and first-responder safety programs for all County employees. Tracks employee accidents and injuries and provides feedback regarding trends. Responsibilities include accident investigation and first response support as necessary. Safety also performs site safety surveys and provides recommendations for improvement of county facilities and worksites.
