The Dogtor knows! Thank you PSC's Dogtor Rudy!
‼️ NEWS FLASH ‼️
The Dogtor and Co are reaching out to all of our students and fans about this pressing new development.
As many of y'all have read, Ms. Simone Biles stepped down from many of the events during the 2021 Tokyo Olympics. She, like many of us, lives with mental health struggles.
We wanted to talk with you guys about social media and how your reactions on the 'net can affect others around you who might also be struggling. Being socially connected to others can ease stress, anxiety, and depression, boost self-worth, provide comfort and joy, prevent loneliness, and even add years to your life. On the flip side, lacking strong social connections can pose a serious risk to your mental and emotional health.
But it's more than just your connections with others that are at stake. Imagine if you are posting something on Facebook about Ms. Biles struggles while at the Olympics and those posts cast shade on mental health struggles. And what if those posts are read by a friend or family member that is struggling as well. They might then assume that you would feel the same way towards their mental health journey causing a rift between the both of you.
So please, be mindful of what you post online. You never know who might be reading and struggling.
