Huge shoutout to our Ann Arbor Public Works team for putting on an incredible open house this weekend!

Events like this are so important because they show the community exactly what our members do 24/7, rain, snow, or shine to keep this city running.

My son Ezra had an absolute blast getting a hands-on look at the equipment. He loved wrenching on the water leaks with the team, and he hasn't stopped talking about getting to run the hydraulics on the garbage trucks!

Thank you to all the members who took the time to share their trades with the public.

Speak truth to power! This is an open invitation to join us at city hall this evening to participate and advocate for the democratic process!

DTE’s “talking points” have made their way to city representatives. Four City Councilmembers are attempting a political maneuver; they are pretending they are worried for the city when they really just don’t like public power.

The best way forward is to let the people independently decide. Join us TONIGHT, Oct 5th, at 7pm in advocating for a transparent step toward renewable, reliable, affordable power in Ann Arbor.

Transparency should be standard practice. Our community needing to fight so hard for such a basic, important principle from the school board proves there is a glaring problem with their ability to govern responsibly.

We are facing a nationwide attack on the labor movement. Anti-worker politicians want to gut our contracts and strip our rights. The only way we stop them is by showing up.
