On Monday, 8/31/2026 from 6:30-8PM, the City of Annapolis Mayor’s Office N.A.M. and Newtowne CDC partnered to host N.A.M.’s Inaugural N.A.M. Night in the community of Newtowne in observance and recognition of International Overdose Awareness Day. Through fellowships and with hope attendees had the opportunity to light candles in honor of loved ones, access overdose prevention supplies, raise awareness, and be apart of a moment amongst others with similar feelings and experiences. Thank you also, to the resource vendors; Lumnis Health Pathways, Alcoholic Anonymous, Anne Arundel Community Action Agency and Pastor Medley. Most importantly thank you to the residents that attended.

*N.A.M. News*

Yesterday from 5-7 p.m. N.A.M. served as resource vendor during the Annapolis Middle School Back to School Night! We had the opportunity to connect with several students, multiple families and various community service providers. We like to thank everyone that visited N.A.M.’s table and received complimentary overdose prevention education materials and supplies. Thank you!
