Keeping nearly 100,000 service members trained and ready each year is no small task. That is the mission of Fort Indiantown Gap, and it takes extraordinary leadership to execute it successfully.

Today, we witnessed a seamless transition of command at the training center. I want to thank Col. Kevin Potts for his service and leadership over the past three years.

I also want to congratulate and welcome our new commander, Col. Robert Cuthie! Immediately following the Change of Command, Col. Cuthie was promoted to his current rank, surrounded by family and friends.
Thank you to Maj. Gen. Michael Wegscheider for presiding over today’s ceremonies.
Please join me in congratulating both of these fine officers on their next steps and thanking them for their continued service to the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and our Nation! 🎖️

Always a pleasure to welcome Ambassador Ibrahima Toure of the Republic of Côte d'Ivoire back to Pennsylvania.

This morning, I joined him along with Minister of Fisheries and Livestock, Sidi Toure for a brief touchpoint on our State Partnership Program and how we can assist in fostering the civic relationships that bring Pennsylvania and Côte d'Ivoire together.
