Friedenru -Peaceful Rest A quiet place for those in Christian Ministry to rest, listen and grow in the Lord. Just as God has blessed us we desire to pass on that blessing!

When we moved to Central Maine to follow God's call in ministry we never could have imagined how blessed we would be! Through the goodness of God He has allowed us to serve Him in many different ways and showing hospitality to those in ministry has brought us great joy. The Cabin is "off grid" which allows simplicity of life and a great foundation to find the rest that so many in ministry need. We

do not offer programs but can direct you to spiritual resources during your stay. We do not charge for your stay, but do accept donations as the Lord leads. We use the term "Friedenru" which is PA Dutch for "Peaceful Rest" to describe the feel of the cabin. Being in ministry ourselves we understand the demands that it places on individuals and families. Our hope is that as you come to stay you will find a place to hear from God, seek His presence and feel His peace.
