🚨The National Weather Service in El Paso Tx/Santa Teresa has issued a Flash Flood Warning for Northwestern El Paso in western Texas until 9:45pm MDT.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
West El Paso, Anthony, Canutillo, Westway, Vinton and Franklin
Mountains State Park.

* At 632 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

SOURCE...Radar.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

Project Name: Town of Anthony Waste Water Treatment Plant (WWTP) Project Description: The funding would be used for upgrades and expansion of the existing Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) in the town of Anthony. 2. Project Name: Arsenic Treatment Plant and Associated Raw & Treated Water Pipelines Project Description: The funding would be used for final design and construction of a 1.73 MGD Water Treatment Plan that will remove arsenic from the Town’s potable groundwater supply.
