I took a shot of me and the Timmy picture outside his room. I often feel like we look a lot alike.. I say he was a better looking man than me but we both handsome guys. And before you be judging.. Timmy is in his 20's in that pic.. Im in me 50's umkay.. Timmy is in great company with folks like Audrey Lorde and Favianna Rodriguez

Hey folks.. I'm at the Grand Re Opening of the Rainbow Community Center Of Contra Costa County and I wanted to share the new picture of Timmy outside the room they dedicated in his honor and to keep his memory alive. Thank you Jorge and thank you Rainbow Community Center.

I want to thank everyone that came out on Sunday to honor Timmy's memory. We also keep the terrible tragedy of a racist crime that took his life in the minds of political leaders to demand that they do something to bring justice for Timmy. Here are some pics.. I will post the video tomorrow.

Sunday, November 2nd, 2:30 pm to 5pm. Timoty Charles Lee was hanged at Concord Bart in 1985. His death was ruled a su***de, and we want the case reopened. Sign the petition at https://www.change.org/p/reopen-the-case-of-timothy-lee-hold-the-concord-pd-accountable

It has been 40 years since Timothy Charles Lee was found hanging from a tree near the Concord Bart station. He was 23 years old AND he was a Luiseño Rincon, Native American & Black, & Gay young man.

The Concord Police Investigators and the corner at the time, chose to accept the lynching of a Black and Native American man as a su***de!

We want the case reopened and converted to a “cold” case. Part of reopening the case calls for discrediting the ruling of su***de! And not just reclassifying it as a murder, but also a hate crime by lynching.

We walk in his name. The event will feature speakers, poets, family, community, libations (non alcoholic), and we can offer rituals to loved ones across the globe.

Hey all.. We got to lift Timmy's name, along with others at the 2025 Concord Juneteenth. We gathered about 50 signitures for his petition, and we got about 20 people added to the email list. Im excited to again be working and planning for Timmy's memorial walk 2025. Hey all... again a big thank you to all that made Timmy's 3rd Annual Memorial Walk a success. It was good to see so many people that care enough to show up, it matters. I know many wanted to make it but were unable to make it.. I appreciate you all as well. I know we can't be everywhere we want to be and there are many important struggles to support. I wanted to share the voices of some of the folks that came out and why they felt it was important to be there.
