When Randa started building Our Village, she was a mom of three trying to figure out how to make work fit into her life as a parent.

School pickups, sick days, and all the little moments that come with raising kids don’t always fit neatly into a work schedule. And for so many parents, finding a way to earn an income while still being present for their families can feel like an impossible balancing act.

That’s a big part of why Our Village exists.

We believe parents should have access to flexible ways to work, earn, and support other families in their own communities. Sometimes, that means finding someone who can help with a task. Other times, it means offering your own skills and finding work that fits around your life.

Running a household means keeping track of a hundred little things, often while juggling work, family, and everything in between. And somehow, there’s always something else that needs to get done.

That’s why we believe having a village matters. Sometimes you need a hand with errands, help around the house, or someone you can count on when life gets a little too busy.
