In Memoriam to Lt. Cmdr. Joe Rodriguez, a legendary Guardian and the namesake for the DOG's Tactical Operator of the Year Award.

Coast Guard advanced interdiction teams contributed to reducing world piracy by 35% in the first quarter of 2013.
World sea piracy fell 35 percent from a year ago in the first quarter of 2013, with the spotlight shifting to West Africa as navies helped keep pirates away from Somalia, an international maritime watchdog said Monday.
