You guys are awesome, My biggest endeavor is the oyster shell recovery
Love what you do, me too !
Have you seen this in-depth blog post (and podcast!) by The Sustany Foundation (Tampa nonprofit) about Tampa Bay's water quality? They link to your website in the "What Can I Do to Help?" section. This story about the decline then improvement of the bay's health is one of the best success stories in the country! Please share if you feel this will bring some value to your audiences.
Tons and tons of plastic laden flood debris sit along the Upper Galveston Bay shorelines. I've found and mapped these piles continuing on for miles in these past weeks. It's actually visible from Google Earth too!
Our plastic footprint is so large and immense, the results are visible from satellites! More images and information is available on my page BEACH. I'm actually just astonished that these debris are visible from Google Maps satellite view. A sample of what the piles look like in person in this photo are just depressing. Just imagine this now literally continues for miles.
Slowly losing a few pieces to the tides and sending plastic further towards the sea. Everyday. Photo degrading into microplastics and blowing into the water. This is the most serious and dangerous problem I've ever witnessed dealing with waterborne plastic pollution.
Thank you for all you are doing on behalf of Estuary Education and Conservation Protection. We are located in Olympia WA and feel the same way!

This information concerns me deeply. In fact made me a bit sick this morning. I have spent years working on Gulf of Mexico Restoration, and this is the first I have heard of Fracking waste being dumped into the Gulf of Mexico. I can give you many reasons this is bad. Please take what steps you can to stop the dumping of any chemical into the Gulf or our aquifer.
