Check out this training opportunity for nonprofit board members from Leadership Center for Excellence.
As Leadership Center for Excellence Class of 2022 Co-Class Ambassador, it was a pleasure to join fellow LCE Alumni and welcome the Class of 2023.
Great to have coffee with Dulce Carrillo, a dynamic leader in Arlington Public Schools and a fellow alumnus of the Leadership Center for Excellence, Leadership Arlington.
Thank you Leadership Center for Excellence
Friends,
Tonight, I had the great honor of receiving the very first Racial Equity Civic Engagement award. This award was presented by Volunteer Arlington and the Leadership Center for Excellence.

This is truly an honor, and I am so grateful to be recognized by my peers, colleagues, and the entire Arlington community.
We are not done though.
We have much to keep working for.
We are still working to become one nation.
We are still working for liberty.
We are still working for justice for all.
So, I ask you to join me. Do not surrender.
It is time to take action.
Humbly yours,
JD

I had the unique opportunity to represent LMI today, speaking with young professionals about the benefits of Personal Branding and establishing communication about their ideas, values, beliefs, goals, and purpose. Mary Ellen Payne, a Leadership Center for Excellence CY2011 graduate, and Distinguished Marketing and Sales Executive, moderated the panel discussion.
Additional panelists were Heather Garlich, currently the Senior Vice-President, Communications, Marketing & Consumer/Community Affairs, Food Industry Association, and Greg Hamilton, who is presently the President Publisher of Arlington Magazine.
Thank you Lisa Navarra Fikes and Hannah Dannenfelser for the kind invitation.
