NCT 9-1-1 PSAP Supervisor Committee Welcome to the NCT9-1-1 PSAP Supervisor Committee page! This page is dedicated to sharing information that pertains to the NCT9-1-1 Region.

The PSC group provides an opportunity to share information, and learn from other PSAP Supervisor and Managers from across the NCTCOG 9-1-1 Region. The networking group discusses items of mutual interest from a wide variety of topics including legislation participation, 9-1-1 education and training, communications, equipment, mapping, and state and national certification and standards.

Mission: INFORM, UPDATE, EDUCATE: To enhance the professionalism of the NCTCOG 9-1-1 Programs 44 PSAP’s in 14 counties through participation in quarterly meetings to assure compliance and growth in cooperation with the Commission on State Emergency Communications.

Starting this week, wireless carriers are sharing quicker and more accurate information with 911 centers.


iOs 12 was released to the public today, and with it comes fast and accurate caller location for 9-1-1 callers all over the county. NCT9-1-1 helped Apple and RapidSOS test this brand new technology, and we can't wait to see how it will save lives. Read more here:

9-1-1 assistance is available for agencies affected by Hurricane Harvey.

Tropical Storm Harvey has been upgraded to a Category 1 hurricane. Weather reports indicate that Harvey could become a Category 3 by the time it makes landfall along the Coastal Bend area Friday evening.

In the event your agency needs 9-1-1 assistance, TX TERT is available. Visit for information on how your agency's Emergency Management team can request TX TERT if needed.

All members are encouraged to stay informed of hurricane developments before, during, and after the storm makes landfall.
