Thank You, Mission BBQ!
Mission BBQ recently hosted their Cups for Heroes fundraiser, raising an incredible $1,798 for Friends of Arvada Fire. They presented the donation check to us today, and we were fortunate to have several Chiefs on hand to help accept it.
(They were kind enough to provide a pocket-sized check for the bank—so we didn’t have to carry the giant novelty version around with us!)
The funds raised were split between their designated Fire Charity, Friends of Arvada Fire, and the Arvada Police Charity. It’s encouraging to know that our partners in law enforcement receive the same level of support.
We’re grateful for Mission BBQ’s continued commitment to supporting first responders and the communities they serve.

🎉 Thank you for making the Chili Cook-Off a success!
Over 200 attendees came together to enjoy great chili and support Friends of Arvada Fire.

🥉 Station 53 – “Cupid”
We’ve raised $1,960 so far, with more to come from silent auction items! Huge thanks to the Arvada Elks, Arvada CERT, and all our amazing volunteers and chili cooks.
Together, we made this event unforgettable! 🌶❤️

Mission BBQ held a soft opening on October 1st. This new Arvada business chose to support both the police and fire departments through this event. Friends of Arvada Fire was honored to receive a $1542 donation today following their noon National Anthem tradition.

Bryce and Jennifer manned the Friends of Arvada Fire table at Arvada Fire Safety Day today. We demonstrated cooking safety with the Safety Kitchen funded in 2017. We also did show-and-tell of the Strong Arm extrication devise, one of our recently funded pieces of equipment.
